NYCAEYC: 2017 Conference Cancelled

Good morning/ afternoon. We hope you are well.

Due to circumstances beyond our control the NYC AEYC board and conference committee took the decision to cancel the conference scheduled for Saturday, March 4, 2017. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

NYC AEYC as a chapter of NAEYC is committed to helping individuals who are passionate about quality care of our youngest learners. We say thank you for your time, effort, and dedication.

As educators within the early childhood space we are lifelong learners. We seek information about best practices and network with other individuals within the field. We invite you to consider attending the NYS AEYC conference March 30 – April 1, 2017 in Rye, New York. Your payment will be applied to the state conference or you could request a refund. Please email us with your decision

We support opportunities to network and learn from each other, though we will not host the conference we will host an event around National Week of the Young Child. We will dedicate energy to creating an opportunity for you to network, engage, learn, and share information. The National Week of the Young Child is fast approaching and we will focus our energy on that week April 24 – 28, 2017.

NYCAEYC is excited to end the week with NYC ECE Day!

This day will celebrate early childhood education in our city. It will be full of opportunities to join the conversation on the importance of the early years with a focus on urban education. We will be recognizing and highlighting the great work of diverse individuals in the fields of early childhood education, special education and professionals working on behalf of young children in NYC.

We want everyone to join this day of celebration, there are a few options:

It is important to continue to highlight the importance of quality care for all our youngest learners birth to age 8.

Please watch your inbox, our website and Facebook page for news and details on this exciting event.
